dé jà vue
Edgar Cayce referred to it when he said "there is a river" - a stream of consciousness that we link into. Carl Jung referred to it as the Collective Consciousness. When we tap into it, chances are that we will have the impression that we've been here before. It's very quick - like a sudden shower of rainbow confetti. It might make you shudder or shiver or tingle.
De ja vue is described in most dictionaries as
It is a common experience that most people just shrug off and don't give much weight to. For me it happened regularly in my life when I was younger. It was so fleeting that I could not often recall what it was a picture of but I knew I had been there before. When I was in my mid-twenties I had a very strong experience that I talk about in my book "A New Way to See Things". I saw something that I had not seen in this life before before and the same De ja vue feeling accompanied the experience - the feeling that I had been here before. It was just a flash but it was enough to find the body of a missing person.
The sense and the urgency at times of these feelings is most likely what has driven me to explore and understand what's going on and to make sense of it for my mind. I believe that when I have these experiences I am receiving an intuitive message that I am on my true path. It's as quick as the blink of an eye but the only reason I can find for it to occur is so I know that I am where I am meant to be.
Theory of Reincarnation tells us that our souls plan their incarnations. They make deals with other souls and agree to have things happen so that each of them will have the opportunity for particular experiences in their living times so they may evolve and develop to higher paths and eventually return complete to the source from which we originally emanated. In these plans the path is laid out and conceptualized and so when we have the feeling of having been here before - guess what - we have been. It's part of our plan.
The experience of seeing something in my mind's eye and finding a missing person was critical for my thinking on this topic. No one can tell me it didn't happen or explain it away through some mental issue or chance happening. To my mind the only way that what happened could have occurred was if I had been there before.
Today I don't dwell on these episodes too much. I just tick the box and move on. The guides, the angels, whoever, are keen to give me a nudge and a message that pushes me in a particular direction then I say thank you and try to be receptive.
Take care - regards... Mark
