Comfort Relationships
The Outward and Inward journeys on the Tree of Life form a balanced duality.
Each path in the Outward Journey has a matching path in the Inward Journey.
1 and 11, 2 and 12 and so on.
I sense there is a certain comfortableness between these like-numbered paths.
Someone, who is a ruling 2, could be drawn to a 12 existence.
It is much stronger in the reverse instance, where the 12 could be drawn to the 2.
Somewhere a very long time ago, the 12 experienced the path of the 2.
It is easy to be drawn into the comfort of that past relationship.
I also call them Complementary relationships.
Complementary means that each adds something to the other or helps to make the other better.
0, 10 & 20 are all forms of 0.
The Path Numbers do not add up and reduce.
The 10 is the first iteration of 0.
The 20 is the second iteration of 0.
In the double digit numbers, the first digit indicates that the second digit is operating on a different level.
The double digit path number vibrates at a different tension.
Like the strings of a musical instrument.
I can join two strings together in harmony with the sound of a single string.
There is always the subtle difference of two strings and one string.
We were misinformed when we were instructed that 0 is not a number.
We were also misinformed, if we were told that we count from 1 to 10.
We were misinformed that the next series of numbers is 11 to 20.
Remember, everything starts from 0.
We count from 0 to 9 and then commence a new series from 10 to 19 and so on...
Comfort relationships are common in life.
Often we hear people referring to being or remaining in their comfort zone.
Many adults retain the comfort relationships they embraced as a child.
Some refusing to grow up and mature.
Choosing to stay in those ways of a child.
Until a significant event forces them to move.
If we are comfortable in our mind and our behaviours, we will be reluctant to change.
To facilitate change, it can be good to make someone uncomfortable in their current ways.
They then start seeking solutions and other ways of being.
Some of us are not even aware of our comfort relationships.
We will continue to repeat the cycles of behaviour that we are comfortable with.
We don’t even know that our childhood ways are influencing and impacting upon our adult life.
Until we see the issue, and acknowledge the need for change.
We fall in love with someone that represents the comfortable focus of our childhood.
It may not even be nice.
We may be repeating and staying in the cycle.
That is what we have been trained for.
Mindlessly, when we are under pressure, we fall back into the easiest pattern.
It is important to become aware of our patterns.
Falling back into a comfort pattern.
We may be subliminally choosing to avoid the challenges and lessons of our current path.
Understanding the dualities of the paths helps us to identify these patterns of behaviour.
We must start to make choices in our behaviour.
Rather than falling into a holding pattern, without knowing it.
Knowing the dual meaning and difference helps to define and understand the meaning of the specific paths.
The Complementary dualities are shown below.
